The shortlist for the Australian Education Awards has been announced. As the first ever pool of finalists for the awards, they represent the very best in the education sector.
The finalists will be competing across 25 categories, including awards for individual teachers and department heads, schools and curriculums.

Finalists for Australian School of the Year and Australian School Principal of the Year will comprise the winners of the other school and principal categories and will be announced at the event itself.
The winners will be announced at the gala event on Friday 17 August at Dockside, Sydney.
