Lindsay McQuattie is dedicated to promoting a positive culture of challenge and support at John Paul College, to enable effective teaching that promotes enthusiastic, independent learners committed to lifelong learning.
McQuattie designs professional development for primary teachers which focuses on evidence-informed teaching and learning practices, has mentored primary teachers through the Highly Accomplished, Leader Teacher (HALT) process to successful certification, and led professional development opportunities within the international baccalaureate global community. She has also undertaken an action research to develop a college-wide pedagogical framework that aligns with John Paul College’s vision and strategic intent. This pedagogical transformation has required close collaboration with the primary school teaching staff, to ensure the college’s direction has been clearly understood and implemented in classrooms.
