Kevin Robillard, Loreto College Ballarat
director of wellbeing
Kevin Robillard’s commitment to the wellbeing of students at Loreto College Ballarat has seen him improve the delivery of positive education programs for the college as well as explore how to redefine learning and curriculum to better prepare students to thrive in the 21st Century.
The Felicitous Life Program is an innovative and holistic wellbeing program developed by Robillard for years 7-12 based on the principals of positive psychology. The program had a theme for each year level, to be delivered by mentor teachers – positive accomplishment (mindset), positive emotions (mood), positive engagement (motivation), positive health (mindfulness), positive purpose (meaning), and positive relationships (might). To enable the delivery of this program, Robillard also supervised the upskilling of teachers.
As part of the school’s curriculum and wellbeing steering committee, Robillard is currently in consultation with the school community about current practice in wellbeing and curriculum models, investigating current and emerging trends in education and key industries, and formulating recommendations. Robillard also played a huge role in leading the school's adaption to online learning throughout COVID-19.
