On Friday 3 December, hundreds of Australia’s education elite from across the country will converge virtually for the fourth annual Australian Education Awards.
The tireless work of the schools and individuals making their mark in the sector will be recognised across 28 categories, including professional development, student wellbeing, remote learning and best use of technology.
Partnering with The Educator for this year’s Awards is anzuk Education, which will be sponsoring the Australian School Principal of the Year Award. anzuk Education places exceptional teachers in vibrant education settings around the world, helping educators find their ‘right fit’ staff.
The company’s NSW state manager, Simon Withers, said the Awards acknowledge the dedication and contribution that schools and leaders provide within education.
“anzuk Education are proud to sponsor the Australian Education Awards. We truly value the opportunity we are afforded to partner with over 2,000 schools and 10,000 educators nationally across the K-12 education sector,” Withers told The Educator.
“These awards showcase the top-performing schools, principals and teachers for their outstanding contribution to education and the inspiring and critical work they are undertaking with our young people to shape their lives and improve our future generations.”
Withers said the Awards have great importance in “recognising ideas, rewarding innovation, networking and a shared responsibility to improving educational outcomes through 2022 and beyond.”
“Reconnecting with our communities after a much interrupted two years will play a critical part to the positive and much needed support many students and colleagues will need as we transition back to face-to-face learning.”
The Australian Education Awards 2021 will be held virtually on Friday 3 December AEDT.
