The Educator is once again on the hunt for the most forward-thinking schools across Australia for its sixth annual Innovative Schools report.
Entries are open to all schools in Australia that can demonstrate innovation and creativity that is driving the education industry forward. From teaching approaches to learning spaces and curriculum design, the Innovative Schools report will showcase the institutions that are shaping the educational landscape of the future.
“Australian education can only benefit from the sharing of innovative practices and programs. The Educator Innovative Schools report allows us to showcase our own projects and learn from others. Together we can make a significant difference in the lives and learning of our young people” said a representative from Santa Maria College, Western Australia, 2019 Innovative Schools winner.
To enter, a representative of the school simply needs to complete a short online form explaining their area of innovation.
“The Educator Innovative Schools report was a great experience for our program to reflect on our innovative practices and the ways in which these benefit our student cohort. It allowed our staff and students to see that our diverse programs and approaches were highly valued and supported across the education landscape” said Scott Dirix, former senior leader of alternative programs at Salisbury East High School, 2019 Innovative Schools winner.
Winners will be featured in the Innovative Schools report that will be published on The Educator website and newsletter in November.
