Time is running out to book a table and be part of the biggest night in Australian education.
The Australian Education Awards are returning as a face-to-face event on Friday 11 August at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney where the outstanding achievements of Australia’s best performing schools and educators will be recognised across 28 categories, which are open to schools, programs, principals, department heads, teachers and more.
This gala gathering of education superstars will be a packed evening, hosted by Australian comedian, radio and television presenter Merrick Watts and featuring entertainment from SongDivision, who have played with everyone from Bowie to Beyoncé.
Judges are now left with the tough decisions on who should win Australian education’s most coveted trophies on the night.
Partnering with The Educator for this year’s Awards is Education Perfect, a curriculum aligned teaching and learning platform for Years 5-12 students, teachers and parents.
"We are delighted to be the event partner for the Australian Education Awards," Ian Pedler, Education Perfect’s head of ANZ, told The Educator.
"The awards are important recognition of the outstanding work of school teachers and school leaders that is demonstrated on a daily basis."
Pedler said he looks forward to seeing teachers and students return to the classroom following the disruption of the last two years.
"Technology has played an important part in supporting teaching and learning during the pandemic, and I know teachers will continue to embrace technology in the classroom as part of the teaching toolbelt," he said.
"The evening will be a great opportunity to reflect and celebrate the many successes of Australia's education sector."
There are only limited seats left to the event. To be part of the action – and to cheer on friends and colleagues as they pick up their awards and celebrate the best of the education sector – book a table here.
