It’s been an amazing submission period for The Educator’s fourth annual Hot List. We’ve been receiving nominations for some truly incredible people whose work is indispensable to the Australian education sector.
But all good things must come to an end. And nominations close at the end of the day today.
The 2018 Hot List will once again showcase education professionals who have made a significant contribution to the K-12 education space over the past 12 months.
A place on the report is a valuable industry accolade – acknowledging those featured as one of the most influential figures in Australian education.
Indeed 2017 Hot Lister Timothy Barlow, Director of Technology Innovation, St Leonards College says it was a real career boost and badge of honour.
“Being on the 2017 Hot List was a terrific way to open up conversations with other inspiring educators and schools,” he says. “The nationwide recognition enabled a great range of educators to begin conversations with me about best learning practice, and about how both my own school and others could continue to push education forward. Inclusion on the list has really bolstered the number of connections, personal learning, and broader educational opportunities across the entire sector nationally.”
To be in with a chance of being featured in the report readers are encouraged to submit an online nomination – it needs to be your top priority. Entries will close today.
The Hot List will be published in issue 4.04 of The Educator magazine in November.
