Two Sydney schools have been ordered to close after several students were diagnosed with COVID-19.
The cases include two Year 7 students at Kincoppal-Rose Bay School in the Eastern Suburbs and a 10-year-old student at Lidcombe Public School in Western Sydney.
Both schools will remain closed for the rest of the day while deep cleaning and contact tracing are undertaken.
The new cases bring the state's total number of COVID-19 cases to 3,925 and follow a string of other school closures in Sydney.
Last week, the entire Year 10 cohort from St Paul’s Catholic College in Greystanes were told to self-isolate for 14 days after three students tested positive.
Other school closures in the past two weeks include Ryde Secondary College, St Gertrude's Primary School, Homebush Public School, Girraween Public School and Double Bay Public School.
