Nicola Steele began her career as an Aerospace Engineer before moving into the world of quantitative finance. Her enthusiasm for STEM and the noticeable lack of diverse representation in both of these fields motivated Nicola to find her passion in teaching. 

For the past three years Nicola has been teaching Mathematics and STEM at St Clare’s College, Waverley, and she strives to inspire her students to pursue careers in these fields. As the Director of Integrated Learning and Global Capabilities in a school dedicated to future focused learning, Nicola creates integrated cross-curricular projects that bring real-world learning to students while developing their skills in entrepreneurship.
