Dillon is part of VU’s Connected Learning team which has been leading the design and development of units for Block delivery for the past two years. ). She has been involved in the design and development of over 60 higher education units in less than eighteen months. This involves collaborating with, guiding, teaching and advising academic staff on all aspects of redesigning their units of study for delivery in Block mode, an Australia-first approach to teaching and learning in higher education. In 2018, she presented on ‘Inspiring and Upskilling Academic staff to build, edit and use H5P Interactive Learning Objects’ at the H5P Conference held in Melbourne in December 2018, a global conference with over 200 delegates from all around the world. Dillon won two awards at this conference for an online learning object she had designed and developed: the People’s Choice Award (voted most popular by conference delegates) and Panel Selection Award (selected by a panel of university executives, H5P team members and H5P founder. In December 2019, Dillon was appointed as Design Team Lead with her own team—the youngest Design Team Lead in Connected Learning.
