Pascale Quester, Swinburne University

Pascale Quester, an active and respected researcher in the areas of consumer behaviour and marketing communications, recently commenced as vice-chancellor at Swinburne University. Prior to the appointment, she was deputy vice-chancellor and vice-president for academic at the University of Adelaide since 2011. Quester’s work has been backed by industry as well as a number of competitive funding bodies, including the Australian Research Council. She has also been actively involved in building relationships with overseas institutions in Asia and Europe. Some of the awards she has received include the Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite, one of France's highest honours, in recognition of her contribution to higher education in both France and Australia (2012); distinguished fellow of the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy (2009); and France’s highest academic recognition by becoming Professeur des Universités (2007).
