As the director of the MBA program at La Trobe University, Geraldine Kennett is responsible for the institution’s MBA strategy and operations, curriculum and learning quality, and industry engagement initiatives. One successful initiative she has led was the La Trobe Business School Leadership Professional Program. It is a free online four-module, 12-hour leadership program facilitated by volunteer business academics and alumni from the university’s highly regarded MBA program, in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Three weeks since it launched, the program has attracted more than 3,200 participants from various fields wanting to improve their leadership skills, understand team dynamics, and connect with fellow participants from diverse backgrounds and industries. Participants who complete the program are also eligible to receive a credit towards La Trobe’s acclaimed MBA.
