Melissa Banks is a passionate international educationalist with over 25 years’ experience in the industry spanning multiple sectors. She has held several senior leadership roles including head of research at IDP and director international at Swinburne, Monash and RMIT universities. She is currently pro vice-chancellor international at James Cook University and president of the International Education Association of Australia. Her major strengths in education management include intercultural communication, institutional internationalisation, strategy development and implementation, team building, and public speaking.
