John Fahey, AUSTRALIAN CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY
Chancellor
Australian Catholic University
John Fahey’s current and former positions as NSW premier, federal finance minister and president of the World Anti-Doping Agency, among others, have put him front and centre of policy formulation, industry growth, industrial relations reform, and an improved approach to drug testing around the world. According to vice-chancellor Gregory Craven, the changes made under Fahey’s stewardship have seen the Australia Catholic University emerge as a national university of stature, and that its path of growth has been ‘a long-term, sustainable strategy’.
